Babar the Little Elephant

Music and Storytelling for children and adults. Two shows at 7.30pm and 9.30pm respectively.

Revisit your childhood with these fun and charming classical selections! Tenor Leslie Tay and pianist Pauline Lee will introduce you to Polaroli the Polar Bear, Tigeroo the Tiger and Lenny the Leopard from Irving Fine's Childhood Fables for Grownups. Narrator Jeremy Lee will tell you the story of Babar the Little Elephant as musically characterized by Poulenc, aided by colourful visual projections. Be enchanted by the timeless folk tunes of Copland's Old American Songs and the world premiere of new songs for the young by local composer Lee Jin Jun, winner of the 2014 World Projects Composition Contest.
